After an hour delay as the ref got held up we finally got underway. Bathgate started well creating some chances early on. Bathgate went up 1-0 aftet a great shot from Nathan Charles came off the bar but Ryan Weir followed in to put in the rebound. Bathgate looked to increase there lead and a few chances to do so but couldn’t get the ball in the net until Ryan Weir put in a second rebound to go up 2-0. Meadowpark began to come into the game and a through ball passed through the centre of the defence let there striker beat the offside trap and round Marcus to score. Bathgate defence had switched off. Bathgate soon increased there lead through Andrew Wood with a deflected shot to make it 3-1

HT 1-3

Meadowpark came out the blocks second half looking to get back into the game but the Bathgate defence held out well to keep the ball out the net. An early change with Nathan pulling up with injury and was replaced with Kenny Bates. So good passing play so bathgate in a couple of times and a better final ball would have seen then increase there lead. It seemed like bathgate wanted to walk it in rather than test the goal keeper with shots. Franny hit the bar with a long range effort and then soon after Rossco made it 4-1 with mistakes in the Meadowpark defence let the ball drop to Ross who drilled into the bottom corner. With a few minutes remaining a corner put in was headed in by Graham Hamilton to make it 5. Probably the best goal of the game.
